About Red Mare Mercantile
Red Mare Mercantile is a print-on-demand (POD) shop designed by and for the horse community — with a special focus on endurance and trail riders, the equestrian LGBTQ+ community, and mustang lovers and advocates. All products are made to order through our print-on-demand partners.
By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our site or place an order.
SECTION 2
Print-on-demand production
All products sold through Red Mare Mercantile are produced on demand by third-party fulfillment partners. This means:
- Items are not manufactured until an order is placed.
- Production typically takes 2–7 business days before shipment.
- Slight variations in color, placement, or sizing may occur between print runs — this is normal for POD products and not considered a defect.
- Product images shown on our site are representations; actual print results may differ slightly due to monitor calibration and fabric type.
SECTION 3
Orders and payment
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are placing the order with the consent of a parent or guardian.
All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors. If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued.
We accept major credit cards and any other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider; Red Mare Mercantile does not store your full payment information.
SECTION 4
Shipping and delivery
Shipping times are estimates only and begin after production is complete. Red Mare Mercantile is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
- Domestic (US) orders typically arrive within 5–12 business days from order date.
- International orders may take 10–20 business days or more, and may be subject to customs fees or import duties paid by the recipient.
- We are not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or delayed after being confirmed as delivered by the carrier.
Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
SECTION 5
Returns, exchanges, and refunds
Because all items are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind or incorrect size selection. Please refer to our sizing guides carefully before ordering.
We will gladly offer a replacement or refund in the following situations:
- The item arrives damaged or defective.
- You received the wrong item.
- There is a significant print error (e.g., misaligned design, faded print, or missing graphic).
To request a resolution, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will review each case and work with you to make it right.
SECTION 6
Intellectual property
All designs, artwork, graphics, logos, and written content on Red Mare Mercantile are the intellectual property of Red Mare Mercantile or its licensed designers, unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or use any of our designs for commercial purposes without express written permission.
By purchasing a product, you receive a license to use the physical item for personal use only. This does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the buyer.
SECTION 7
Inclusive community standards
Red Mare Mercantile is committed to being a welcoming space for all horse lovers — including, but not limited to, the equestrian LGBTQ+ community, mustang advocates, endurance riders, trail riders, and riders of every background, ability, and discipline.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who uses our platform, communications, or community spaces in ways that are harassing, discriminatory, or harmful to others. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, bigotry, or targeting of individuals based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin.
SECTION 8
Limitation of liability
Red Mare Mercantile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.
We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the fitness for a particular purpose of any product beyond what is described in the product listing.
SECTION 9
Privacy
Your personal information is collected and used solely to process your orders, communicate with you about purchases, and improve your shopping experience. We do not sell your data to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is handled.

Red Mare Mercantile reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
